Meeting Schedule Assistant can be configured to automatically check for the latest meeting schedule information. Here’s how to set it up and what the options mean.

Setting It Up

  1. Open the Settings window
    • You can do this from the main toolbar or the Options menu
  2. Go to the Check For Update page.
    • This page controls how the software checks for updates to your meeting workbook schedule data.

Check for Latest Schedule Information
  • This option becomes available when you choose either:
    • Check automatically when application starts
    • Ask before checking, once a week
  • If you choose Do not check for updates, this feature will be disabled.
  • Default setting: Unchecked.

Submit Workbook Request Statistics
  • Controls whether anonymous usage data is sent when you request workbook data.

  • This checkbox is only available if Check for Latest Schedule Information is enabled.

  • Default setting: Unchecked.

If left unchecked, you will see a popup each time you submit a workbook request, asking if you want to send anonymous statistics.

  • You can click Find out more in the popup to learn what data is sent.

  • You can also choose Stop displaying this message to avoid being prompted in the future.

What Data Is Sent (Anonymous)

If you enable workbook request statistics, the following information will be submitted:

  • Date and time of the request.
  • Foreign-Language Group mode setting.
  • Application language.
  • Workbook language.
  • Application version.
